Meditation

It was life changing. Who needs plastic surgery to get a facelift when you can spend 3 blissful soul nourishing days in an ashram and get the same result? I haven’t gone back to the ashram but I get their newsletter and am planning on attending quite a few more weekend getaways before my time is through. Over the next few years I used what I had learned at the ashram to meditate using CS´s I had purchased while I was there. I meditated 2 hours a day some days for a few years but now meditate when I feel the need to rest, relax, regroup or unwind.

A peaceful life.

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day who was really unhappy about her life. She is healthy, her kids are healthy, she has a job that she loves, all of life’s necessities. I don’t know why we can’t all live a peaceful life. We seem to continually sabotage our best efforts at peace and serenity by constantly following our guilt rather than using love as our focal point. When we come home exhausted after the day it only takes a split seconded to say yes to something that can easily wait until tomorrow.

Living free as a kid in the 70´s

We can all remember what it was like to be a kid in the old days. We ran outside with no shoes on, played in the creek, went to the mine and explored. One time, one of the children fell into the water by the mine. We tried to pull him up countless times but couldn’t do it. Who knows why, maybe because we were all under 7 years old?

The butterfly effect of coaching.

I have been thinking about Life Coaching lately and how it effects your life. I personally have 3 coaches that each give me different things. I think it gives me an interesting perspective on coaching especially since I am doing coaching myself. I think that having coaches myself helps me to be a better coach for my clients.

I like Tony Robbins!

You know when we think about what motivates us we realize it is almost always something positive. This morning I was watching a Tony Robbins Video. If you don’t know who he is here is his url so you can take a look.http://www.tonyrobbins.com/Home/Home.aspx I find him so motivating. He was talking about how we achieve. Basically we have to enthuse ourselves into a state of believing. If we believe, we achieve.

How do I support myself?

It is interesting that as I look around me and look at my surroundings I have to reevaluate my position. I look around my house because I am doing a chapter about structure and can all of a sudden see the fog lifting. The pretty day planner that I bought yesterday to organize myself , [...]

You know sometimes life just flows like a river, peacefully carving its way. Other times it rages like a waterfall in a spray of fury. Why is it like this? Why do we sometimes feel so good and other times become frustrated at the smallest thing.  We have all experienced road rage for instance. It’s [...]

The beauty of responsibility

I don´t blame myself for not being responsible all the time, or do I . I actually think this is something to explore quite a bit. I would like to start with everything  in my life  other than me of cource. I can pretend that this has nothing to do with me…at least for a [...]
