If you had one more year to live how would you want to live it?

What would you do differently? Who would you have around you? What would you stop doing? If you had unlimited resources and time how would that change your life? What would you spend your days doing? What would be important to you? If you had no responsibilities to anyone (kids, parents, society) how would that [...]

your life plan

The self-analysis in The Life Plan is really making me look at my life as it is today. I do take inventory of my like regularly and know what I want but when it comes to finding clarity on exactly what to do to get there I tend to get overwhelmed even with all the best tools at my fingertips. I am really looking forward to getting to the end of the life plan and having a detailed plan of the next steps that will take me to the next level.

Work Life Balance in the real world

That said the reason for this post is that all of a sudden I was able to focus my thoughts on what is important. I had forgotten to align my life and future choices with my values and instead used my outside locust of control. The result of this discovery was creativity. I have now written the 10 commandments for work life balance that will be out on my web site soon, a new HUB , Need more time? Start scheduling yourself like a pro. , a quiz and am currently writing 2 more articles. I think it is safe to say that sometimes a little kick in the but is necessary.

A peaceful life.

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day who was really unhappy about her life. She is healthy, her kids are healthy, she has a job that she loves, all of life’s necessities. I don’t know why we can’t all live a peaceful life. We seem to continually sabotage our best efforts at peace and serenity by constantly following our guilt rather than using love as our focal point. When we come home exhausted after the day it only takes a split seconded to say yes to something that can easily wait until tomorrow.

Living free as a kid in the 70´s

We can all remember what it was like to be a kid in the old days. We ran outside with no shoes on, played in the creek, went to the mine and explored. One time, one of the children fell into the water by the mine. We tried to pull him up countless times but couldn’t do it. Who knows why, maybe because we were all under 7 years old?

Amazing how time flies.

Wow, you know I never cease to be amazed at how time flies. does that ever happen to you?

I wake up in the morning and have tons of plans but do not seem to accomplish any of what I want to do. For instance this morning. I woke up early and went to the gym. Great start. but after that everything seems to run together.

Its funny how time seems to disapear…

I seem to run out of time regularly. I try to schedule my time very efficiently but somehow it never seems to be efficiently enough. Unexpected things keep getting in the way. I had quite a day planned today for instance. Wake up early, go to the gym. Then I was going to do homework [...]

The butterfly effect of coaching.

I have been thinking about Life Coaching lately and how it effects your life. I personally have 3 coaches that each give me different things. I think it gives me an interesting perspective on coaching especially since I am doing coaching myself. I think that having coaches myself helps me to be a better coach for my clients.

Pressure

We put so much pressure on ourselves on a day to day basis. Make sure we excercise, get the kids lunches ready, stay organized, stay ahead of the game. Be a nice person, do the right thing, follow the rules, be a hard worker, treat everyone fairly. Do we really need to do this all the time? Can´t we just drop the ball sometimes and let everything go?
